Peak District In Black & White

Black and white photography, who doesn't love it. There's just something about it that makes something feel more timeless and unique. I posted my colour images of the Peak District yesterday but decided to hold on to these for a little bit longer. I can't help but think they are very Ansel Adamsy.

I think the most interesting thing about these images is that asides from 1/2 images they weren't taken on my usual Canon or Fuji. They were in fact taken on a small compact camera which goes to prove that it doesn't really matter what camera you have with you, you can always create a good image if you have the basic knowledge and skills within photography, that being; viewpoints, composition lighting as well as a good eye for editing.

If you'd like to see the coloured pictures you can see them here
